Blood Tears

October 26, 2009

Tears flowed down her face, leaving a trail of blood. Only the strongest of emotions would turn a priestess’ tears to that rich red. He watched from the shadows, studying the chains holding her to the wall. The cloth of her gown hung in tatters about her, revealing a full breast, marred by heavy bruises, nipples deep purple and painfully swollen. I was about to step into the light when I heard him enter. Impossibly her eyes grew wider, as she watched him step closer. I wasn’t sure if she’d survive this round of torture. The fear of losing what I’d never gotten to hold pulled at the beast in me, and I struggled to hold back the change.

Microfantasy Monday – Fear. Brought to you by Ang, of Sweltering Celt. She’s kept it going strong for almost a year now! Go leave her nice comments and see all the other links.

Interesting – both of them in the depths of fear. Would be neat to see you build this into a full fantasy story…
